Thigh Lift

Diminished skin elasticity from the natural aging process and/or significant weight loss can create a range of cosmetic concerns in many different body areas. In the upper legs, both factors usually result in excess skin and stubborn fat around the inner and outer thighs that usually can’t be resolved with exercise and dieting efforts. These issues may mask the athletic contours of the legs, as well as cause skin irritation and impeded mobility from uncomfortable thigh friction. A thigh lift, medically known as a thighplasty, is designed to reduce the amount of excess skin around the circumference of the thighs for natural-looking definition and improved contour in the upper legs.

Excess skin is then carefully removed and the remainder is redraped to create a smoother and more defined thigh appearance. If liposuction is utilized during treatment, stubborn fatty deposits will also be extracted for a firmer aesthetic result. A thigh lift is generally performed as an outpatient procedure and individuals will usually be able to return home the same day with a friend or family member.
